Ribbons

Here you can keep track of the ribbons you have earned and the number of times you have earned them.

The top of the page provides you with a chart telling you the ribbon name, the number of times you have received each ribbon, the number of oak leafs you have received for each ribbon, the last time (semester) you have earned each ribbon, and whether or not you have been given a particular ribbon, oak leaf, or star by your Awards and Decorations Officer. You will need to come here and update your ribbons every semester. Entering the information will let the Awards and Decorations Officer know whether or not you have received all your ribbons, oak leafs, and stars.

Adding a Ribbon

  1. Select an award from the drop down menu. If you have not received any awards, select the "No Ribbons" award from the drop down menu so that the Awards and Decorations Officer knows you are current on all your awards.
  2. Select the number of times you have earned that particular award from the "# of Times Earned" drop down menu box.
  3. Selct the number of oak leafs received from the "# of Oak Leafs Received" drop down menu box.
  4. Type the last semester you earned the award in the "Semester Last Received" text box. Enter the information in the following format: Semester Year (for example: Fall 07).
  5. Check the "Yes" or "No" box on the "Do you already have this ribbon?" line.
  6. Hit the "Add" button to enter the data for that particular ribbon.
  7. Repeat this process as necessary until each of the ribbons you have earned has been added to the system.
