Modifying the Calendar

This section goes over how to modify the calendar to either add or edit/delete events.

Getting Ready To Modify

  1. Log in to the database area as any group commander or wingstaff member.
  2. Scroll down to the Wing Information area.
  3. Click either “Add Event to Calendar” or “Edit/Delete Calendar Events.”
  4. Follow instructions below for the type of modification you want.

Adding Events

  1. Fill in the information for the event. (At a minimum, the event name, date and time must be entered).
a. Dates are entered in the mm/dd/yyyy format.
b. Times are in military format.
i. If unknown, enter N/A
ii. If known, enter either the start time or range of time (i.e. 0630-0730) the event will take place.
  1. When you are ready to add the event, click the “Submit” button.
  2. The final screen will inform you that the event was successfully added and that you can add another event.

Editing/Deleting Events

This function is designed to edit events as they change or delete events that have been cancelled.

  1. To edit events, find the event on the calendar and click on the “E.”
  2. To delete events, find the event on the calendar and click on the “D.” (There is no confirmation asking you to verify you want to delete the event).
