Having proper Operation Orders (Ops Orders) is an essential factor to any wing, and Knodberg Cadet Link makes them an easy task. This page is divided into three sections: Adding Ops Orders, Viewing Ops Orders, and Editing/Deleting Ops Orders.

Contents

Adding Ops Orders

1. Log into the Wing Executive Officer (CCE) database.
2. Click on the "Add Ops Order" link.
3. You will then want to click on the event for which you want to add a Op Order.
4. Once you have done that you should see the screen below:
  • Situation: Use the following as a guideline for what to put here, “All cadets are required to complete mandatory training objectives as outlined.” Then modify it if only certain AS years are required to be there.
  • Mission: Use this field to very broadly cover what will done at this event (don’t get into actual events, a example is All cadets will participate in planned activities).
  • Execution: Simply enter the number of different sub-events at your event, so if you have a awards ceremony, a briefing by a Major, and a Open Ranks Inspection, enter 3. Note that this cannot be changed later. If you later decide to add another sub-event, you will have to recreate the entire Ops Order.
  • Uniform: Use this field to indicate the Uniform of the day, all cadets are required to be in BDUs until 1600 or all cadets will be in short sleeve blues for the duration of the activity.
  • Inclement Weather: Use this form to show plans in case of inclement weather.
  • This blank field is used for Safety practices. If there are none, state so in this field.
5. Click the "Submit" button to save your work.
6. On this next screen you will see something similar to this:
A. Cadets: Which cadets are required to be at this event.
B. Activity: What are the cadets going to be doing.
C. Location: Where is the event(s) going to be held.
D. LLAB Obj/Lesson #: What LLAB objectives are you going to be accomplishing and their respective lesson #s.
E. POC/Instructors: Who is in charge of this event.
7. Click the "Submit" button to save your work.
