Colonel Terry M. Featherston           


Col. Terry M. Featherston is Commander and Professor of Aerospace Studies for the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 020 at the University of Arizona, in Tucson, Arizona.

Colonel Featherston entered the Air Force in 1983 after receiving his commission from the United States Air Force Academy, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in pre-medical biology. He has commanded a Fighter Squadron and an Operations Group. He has served multiple assignments across the CONUS, Europe, Asia, and Washington DC. Colonel Featherston is a combat veteran, having led 40 missions during Operation Desert Storm, the first use of the A-10 in combat and at night. He is a command pilot with more than 3,700 flying hours, including 2,500 in the A-10.
